It has been two months on Disulfuram and progress is slow. My body is super senstive and I tend to detox slowly and herxing can sometimes cause massive inflammation, even with my detox protocol. So everything is a baby step I am slowly ramping up the dosage from 61.25 every other day to 61.25 every day. I will continue, as long as my liver enzymes stay in range, until I get up to 120 or 150 every day. Juggling bartonella treatment with DSRFM has been rough. I am making the decison to back burner Bart treatment while I focus on DSRM in the hopes that it can take out Babesia 100% so my body can have a better chance at fighting the BART., BAB ymptoms that have gotten better on DRSM: night time panic attack feelings, night time high heart rate, anxiety, temperature fluctuations (cold/shivering), and extreme insomnia. Symptoms that remain and or come and go: hip pain, headaches, fatique, mild insomnia, pretty bad stomach/digestive issues, low stamina, brain fog, mood swings. These symptoms are mild to moderate, not nearly as severe as they once were. always important to note - I have been on this journey for years.
Other notes
Go to morning smoothie - for now, I am sticking with my morning routine, at least a few times of the week, to get my fruits and greens into one glass. Easy and efficient. I throw the following into my vitamix: a few handful of greens, usually kale, half of banana or frozen mango, cucumber, celery and/or parsley, with a bit of ice. Does it taste like a dessert? No not at all. But it feels very nourishing.
I have tried to emulate the Real Food Rebel’s apprach to healing Lyme. She has an amazing story but her protocol is very strict and so far, does not appear to work with my busy lifestyle. There is alot to learn here tho - her whole food approach, lifestyle and discipline. I found this very inspiring. I am true believer in the body’s ability to heal itself inside and out….with natural remedies as long as you you have the mindset, time and discipline.
That's it for today!
